Amber Berry (Stepp)

Amber has been involved in suicide prevention and awareness, since 2012, after the loss of her little cousin, Nathan. She served on the Eastern Missouri board of directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) for 8 years and co-chaired the Cape Girardeau Out of the Darkness Community walk for 9 years.

Amber also increased her advocacy efforts by marching Capitol Hill for Suicide Prevention 2 years in a row. In 2018 Amber walked 16 miles down town Dallas at the Overnight walk for Suicide prevention (sponsored by AFSP).

Amber works in EMS for Cape Girardeau County. When Amber isn’t working you can find her Camping with the family, Kayaking, hanging with her girl gang, and crafting. Amber has a passion for the cause and is dedicated to helping our community and all those affected by suicide.
